MAS welcomes candidates with little (less than 3 years) or no working experience to apply for our Graduate Officer position which offers you the opportunity to gain unrivalled insights into the financial services industry.

Your Career at MAS 
We invest heavily in the personal and professional development of our Graduate Officers. We will start you off in the MAS Induction Programme which covers topics you would need to know to be effective in your work and to help you succeed in your young MAS career.

You will also join the MAS Diploma, a structured programme designed to give you a deeper knowledge of the key functions as well as opportunities to work with colleagues from other departments and be mentored by senior colleagues.

As you progress, you can look forward to take on more responsibilities, build expertise in your professional fields as well as develop strategic thinking and management skills.

You will also be part of the MAS Recreation Club (MASRC) which seeks to build a stronger MAS community through the promotion of fellowship and esprit de corps amongst MAS staff.  The MAS Recreational Club will comprise of 4 committees namely, Social, Sports, Community and Wellbeing.

The Candidate
Qualities that we seek include integrity, analytical ability, communication skills, enterprise, leadership, team-player qualities and the potential to grow with the organisation.

We look for outstanding graduates with well-rounded backgrounds and personalities, as well as a track record of excellence in any field (with the exception of Dentistry, Medicine or Architecture).

We value diversity and do not have a preference for any particular discipline.  Our graduate officers have read subjects ranging from English Literature and Geography to Computer Science and Engineering.

What matters is that you must have a genuine interest to make an impact on the economic and financial development of Singapore and build a career with us.

Selection Process
As part of the selection process, candidates may receive an email invitation for an online video interview after submitting their application through the MAS website.

Shortlisted candidates will go through three stages of assessments:

(1) Psychometric tests

(2) Case challenge and writing test; and

(3) Panel interview with management members. 

The successful candidate will be assigned to a specific department based on his/her aptitude and interest, as well as the available vacancies within MAS.
