MAS carried out an educational programme on safety awareness and preparedness for emergencies for MAS staff and tenants. Activities in the programme included a series of talks and the distribution of a staff
safety handbook on safety measures and guidelines.
MAS also reviewed and enhanced its security and fire evacuation procedures. As a result of the review, the evacuation of the children at the child care centre housed within MAS Building was smoother and better organised.
Moving forward, MAS will step up its efforts to promote greater awareness of security and emergency preparedness among its staff and ensure the robustness of its security systems.
