Regional Training Initiative
During the year, MAS continued to be active in organising several regional training ev ents where we shared our supervisory practices and experiences, and exchanged views with our regional peer regulators.

In May and November 2006, MAS organised the third and fourth run of the two-week MAS Regional Banking Supervisors Training Programme. The Programme is developed from the many in-house regulatory and supervisory training programmes that MAS’ Supervisory Methodologies and Training Division regularly runs for MAS’ own staff.
