As part of our annual corporate planning cycle, we held the MAS Leadership Community Retreat on 12-13 January 2007. The Retreat was a useful opportunity to take stock of organisational issues which are common to different departments within MAS. About a hundred participants from MAS senior and middle management attended the Retreat. During the retreat, participants discussed specific issues that MAS will need to focus on in the medium term to effectively meet the challenges of a changing operating environment.
Many of the issues raised during the Retreat will result in multi-year initiatives. We will continue to develop possible follow-up actions throughout the year. The priorities and work ahead were communicated to staff during the ann
ual Staff Seminar held in May 2007.
