The Finance Department is responsible for managing MAS' financial resources, and the settlement, safe-custody, accounting of MAS' foreign reserves.  This covers a wide range of activities including controlling of payments, receipts, budgeting, and accounting for MAS' overall income, expenditure, assets, and liabilities in the financial statements; settlement operations for MAS' reserve and monetary management operations, and the safe-custody of MAS' assets; investment accounting, performance evaluation, financial data management and valuation, and tax issues relating to MAS' globally diversified portfolio of financial assets, managed internally and by external fund managers. We seek motivated individuals with strong analytical capabilities and a good knowledge of accounting and financial instruments. Knowledge and ability to apply quantitative analysis will be an added advantage. 

The Information Technology Department provides strategic IT systems and services to fulfill MAS’ key business objectives which includes foreign reserve management, money market operations, risk-focused supervision and financial sector development.  Amongst other challenging responsibilities, we also manage two nation-wide financial networks, namely the MASNET and the MAS Electronic Payment System (MEPS+). We are looking for highly motivated individuals with strong analytical and project management capabilities who are keen on cutting-edge IT technology in the banking and finance field. 

The Risk Management Department presents opportunities to undertake projects in business continuity and enterprise-wide risk management. The department is also involved in the formulation of risk policies, investment benchmarks and guidelines, as well as the measurement and reporting of financial risks. Being meticulous, systematic and organized are key skills and competencies we need in order to ensure effective risk management across MAS and the financial sector. You will provide a strategic and holistic oversight and management of risks affecting MAS and coordinate MAS’ responses to these risks, both internally and externally.
