11(1) The Authority shall, if it deems necessary, inspect or make an investigation under conditions of secrecy, the books, accounts and transactions of merchant banks in Singapore.
(2) The merchant bank under inspection or investigation shall accord the Authority access to and shall produce its books, accounts and documents and shall give such information and facilities as may be required to conduct the investigation.
