MAS NOTICE 117

TRAINING AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT: HEALTH INSURANCE MODULE

         The Authority has revised the training and competency requirement relating to the provision of advice on, and/or arrangement of contracts of, health insurance products. MAS Notice 117 is therefore issued to replace MAS Circular FSG 71/2001 dated 22 Dec 01. Consequential amendment to FAA-N04 for financial advisers has also been made. The new Notice will take effect on 1 January 2003.
