In exercise of the powers conferred by section 342 (5) of the Securities and Futures Act 2001, the Deputy Prime Minister, Lee Hsien Loong, hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation
1. This Notification may be cited as the Securities and Futures (Repeal of Provisions) Notification 2002.

Repeal of provisions
2. Sections 57, 58, 97, 98, 99, 101 to 106 and 400 and Divisions 1, 5A and 6 of Part IV of, and the Fifth and Seventh Schedules to, the Companies Act (Cap. 50) are repealed, with effect from 1st July 2002.
