In exercise of the powers conferred by section 340(1) of the Securities and Futures Act 2001, the Deputy Prime Minister, BG (NS) Lee Hsien Loong, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the Securities and Futures Act (Amendment of Second Schedule) Order 2001 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2002.
Amendment of Second Schedule
2. Part II of the Second Schedule to the Securities and Futures Act 2001 is amended by inserting, immediately after the word ?invitation? in the 1st line of paragraph (b) of the definition of ?advising on corporate finance?, the words ?to the public?.
