Singapore, 17 March 2006...Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Minister for Education and Deputy Chairman, Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), will visit India from 18 to 19 March 2006.
2. Mr Shanmugaratnam will be participating in the Asia Society's 16th Asian Corporate Conference on 19 March 2006 in Mumbai, where he will deliver a keynote address on Asian integration prospects.
3. Mr Shanmugaratnam will also be meeting with leaders of Indian financial institutions and educational institutions.
4. He will be accompanied by officials from the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
