FAQ

1)

Does MAS have a preference for certain disciplines eg, accountancy or business? Is a non-business related degree eg, Engineering relevant to MAS?
We recruit graduates from all disciplines. We want to build a diverse workforce that is multidisciplinary in nature. We believe that tertiary education provides a good training of the mind and a sound foundation necessary for a professional career. What matters is that you must have a genuine interest to build a career with us. Your adaptability and motivation coupled with the training available in MAS (both formal and on-the-job) would enable you to contribute positively to the organisation.

2) What kind of career path awaits me at MAS?
At MAS, career advancement is based on merit. How far and fast you progress in the organisation depends on your performance and capability. Apart from vertical progression in the organisation, you can also look forward to varied opportunities for professional growth such as lateral movements across the organisation through job rotations.

3) How competitive is MAS’ remuneration package?
We participate in several salary surveys each year to ensure that our total remuneration package remains competitive vis-à-vis our competitors. We believe in attracting the best talents to join us and motivating them to contribute their best to the organisation. Aside from remuneration, we believe that it is essential that our officers derive maximum satisfaction from the work that they do in MAS. Staff who live up to the challenges can look forward to attractive bonuses based on individual and organisational performance.

4) Will I be informed of the status of my application?
Due to the high volume of applications received, we regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.

5) Can I apply for more than one position?
For mid-career professionals, you can put in multiple applications for different roles. For Graduate Officer, Internship and Scholarship programmes, you only need to apply once.
