Q2. I have been getting this error message "There is no response. The server could be down or is not responding. Certain sections of the MAS Internet web site are reside on a secure site that encrypts the data that is transported from our server to your browser.

If you are surfing from a machine on your office network and still cannot access the site after the steps above, please check with the computer department at your company whether or not your network is connected to the internet through a firewall, and, if so, does this firewall allow access to secure web sites. Secure (encrypted) web traffic does not go over the "normal" web traffic port, but has its own specific port (port 443).

If you have any questions, please send them to webmaster@mas.gov.sg.
