The MAS needs and welcomes talent from every kind of background, because we value transferable skills like analytical ability and self-motivation Your experience in your field of work will contribute to enhancing our capabilities and effectiveness.

If your experience has been in banking or insurance and you do not wish to be ‘typecast’ straight into a supervision role, you could, for example, consider bringing new insights and ideas to our Market & Business Conduct Department, the Financial Sector Development Department, or other areas that may appeal to you. On the other hand, you may want to leverage on your banking or insurance experience to contribute in our Banking or Insurance Supervision Departments.

You will join an interdisciplinary team, with members hailing from such diverse fields as law, accountancy, insurance, banking, securities and futures, risk management, information technology, human resources, strategic planning and policy formulation, amongst others.  Given the breadth of our functions, you can be certain of finding something to your liking.
