Content Creation

Content Design across MAS Website
Department Organisation Development and Communications Department (ODC)
Preferred internship window  Summer Internship: May to August 2023 
Description of Project 1. As part of MAS Digital Transformation efforts, you will be responsible to support the overall content strategy on MAS Website.
2. You will work with the MAS Website product team in the development and amplification of new digital content, derived through data demands.
3. Your responsibilities include graphic design, photography, copywriting, performance tracking and development of new content to drive online engagement.
Expected deliverables for the project Collaborate with stakeholders to design and create different forms of content assets for MAS Website and marketing collaterals for internal stakeholders engagement.
Experience and/or skills that the intern(s) may gain from the internship  Exposure to content development and marketing for public consumption and understanding towards MAS operations as the financial regulator. You will also develop skills on user research, data analysis and have ample of opportunities to curate and pitch ideas to stakeholders as well as to co-drive the content assets strategy for MAS Website.

Financial Education

Department Organisation Development and Communications Department (ODC)
Preferred internship window Summer Internship: May to August 2023
Description of Project

Part 1: Research Review effectiveness of financial education national strategy in other jurisdictions (economic/value for money & increase in knowledge/positive changes in attitudes/behaviour).

The review should include:

o Details on how other jurisdictions’ financial education units are set-up e.g. budget and headcount

o How regulators in other jurisdictions work with partners on consumer education and engagement, especially in partnering with financial institutions and whether there are potential conflicts of interest

o Effectiveness of financial education efforts for emerging consumer related risk areas, including scams and digital payment token services

 

Part 2: Project Management

Be part of a team running an educational campaign on investment scams including involvement in conceptualising and development of campaign collaterals such as videos, social media posts and content partnerships.

Expected deliverables for the project A presentation detailing findings of jurisdiction scan and reflection/key takeaways from involvement in educational campaign on scams
Experience and/or skills that the intern(s) may gain from the internship An understanding of financial literacy strategies employed by regulators internally. Project Management skills running an educational campaign
Pre-requisites preferred from the intern(s) Communications or Marketing background. Familiarity with social media management / google analytics is a plus

Digital Communications

Description of Project Intern will work with Comms Officers on social media, website and digital version of the Annual Report.
Expected deliverables for the project The completion of the digital Annual Report by July 2023, enhanced database and content for MAS social media and website communications
Experience and/or skills that the intern(s) may gain from the internship  Corporate communications experience, particularly in digital communications.
Pre-requisites preferred from the intern(s) Interest in design, infographics, social media.
