Expected deliverables for the project 1. Testing of existing and inflight data products and provide feedback

Improving Effectiveness of Learning and Development Programmes and Processes

Descriptionof Project Intern will help improve ACA’s processes in order to
1) enhance learning experience for stakeholders
2) increase efficiency of data extraction.
Expected deliverables for the project Create Tableau Dashboards to present learning statistics, including profile of international attendees.
- Creation of at least one script or bot to automate data extraction processes for learning statistics
- Organise and deliver basic tech tool workshops – at least one to ACA staff
Experience and/or skills that the intern(s) may gain from the internship 1. Build up data analytics skills through writing scripts to automate data extraction
2. Explore the use of robotic process automation to improve processes to enhance experience for both internal and external stakeholders
3. Hone presentation skills through organizing and presenting basic tech tools workshops

Department Internal Audit Department
Preferred internship window  No specific time period of preferably 6 months duration.
Description of Project 1. As part of MAS Internal Audit Department's transformation, we are looking for a candidate to join the Data Analytics team within IAD in developing data analytics solutions for the department. The candidate will be attached to the IAD’s DA Team to implement DA projects (details will be provided later). The scope of work includes:
(1) Preparing (Extract, Transform and Load) and exploring data;
(2) Building rules and checks;
(3) Automating DA projects, including creating dashboard;
(4) Coordinating with internal stakeholders on the requirements for (1) to (3); and
(5) Documenting work done and conducting briefing to IA staff.

2. He/she will also get to learn about the Internal Audit function, and how DA and automation help to identify risks and generate insights.
Expected deliverables for the project 1. An automated end-to-end process with minimal human intervention, unless necessary.
Experience and/or skills that the intern(s) may gain from the internship  1. End-to-end process to build and automate a DA project, including knowledge of how to use Blue Prism automation tool;
2. Business process re-engineering; and (3) Business knowledge of the functional area
Pre-requisites preferred from the intern(s)  1. Experience in using Python and Tableau for interactive dashboarding.
2. Familiarity with Blue Prism or other RPA tools would be an advantage.
3. The candidate must be able to work independently and willing to learn new things.

Description of Project 1. Improve analytics and sensing in the area of enterprise risk management and business continuity preparedness by designing a NextGen enterprise risk system for MAS
Expected deliverables for the project 1. Conduct research on enterprise risk systems in the market, including face-to-face interaction with potential solutions providers
2. Evaluate the relative strengths of both internal and external solutions, and help chart the best path forward for MAS
3. Determine key modules and functionalities required and how these should be interlinked to maximise the use of data and information for analysis and insights, and tracking purpose
4. Review and identify the types of information needed to support business continuity preparedness
5. Study ways to enhance the data collection process and automate analysis of business continuity information
Experience and/or skills that the intern(s) may gain from the internship  1. Understand key aspects of enterprise risk and business continuity work through the lens of one of the top central banks in the world
2. Practical, hands-on exposure to the various enterprise risk management systems available in the market
3. Learn to translate risk data inputs into useful analysis and insights
4. Sharpen your analytical and problem solving skills by proposing workable solutions to management

Description of Project As part of constantly improving and transforming our service delivery, we are looking at applying data analytics to improve staff experiences on MASpace. You will need to build a dashboard using Tableau to generate data insights, staff user experiences, identify emerging topics and areas to improve for the intranet. You will need to merge data from multiple sources, and supplement the data through adhoc surveys. From the data insights, you will work with the stakeholders to identify solutions to address the pain points and develop contents to address the information gaps.

You will work with team overseeing the public platform, to analyse the query data to generate data insights identifying emerging topics and trends, frequently asked queries, as well as issues faced by users. From the data insights, you will also work with stakeholders to address pain points, and develop content to address information gaps.
