Description of Project | Intern will do 2 key pieces of work: • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create SCORM-compliant e-learning. Intern will be required to develop the storyboard and use images, text, script, animations, interactions to create the elearning. Opportunities to learn how to use authoring tools such as Articulate 360, ISpring will be available. The end-product will be uploaded onto the platform of course and used by staff for workplace learning. • Create graphic features for Academy’s fortnightly email publicity using tools and software such as Canva, Vyond etc. Intern will be required to design and create the features. The features will be used in Academy’s fortnightly email to all staff. |
Expected deliverables for the project | • Create 3 e-learning modules and publish them on chosen platform • Create graphic features for Academy’s fortnightly email publicity on at least 6 occasions |
Experience and/or skills that the intern(s) may gain from the internship | • Learn how to create learning courseware using a variety of authoring software, including Articulate, ISpring • Learn how to use tools and software to create graphics, photos, and videos for publicity • Build up awareness of learning in a corporate settling including use of technology |
Pre-requisites preferred from the intern(s) | Prefer 2nd or 3rd year undergraduates in Mass Communication, Human Resources Management, or any other discipline |

Project B: Learning Needs for In-House Trainers and Designing Learning Resources for Them

Description of Project | Intern will have the opportunity to do the following: • Design, administer and analyse a survey to find out the learning and resource needs of MAS’ internal trainers. • Research, design and develop learning resources for use by MAS’ internal trainers. Intern will use various tools and software such as Canva, Vyond to create these learning resources. • Interview and write article featuring on in-house trainers to provide them with greater recognition within the organisation. |
Expected deliverables for the project | • Conduct, administer and analyse a survey of in-house trainers’ learning needs • Create 8 learning resources and avail them to in-house trainers • Create 2 MASpace articles on in-house trainers. |
Experience and/or skills that the intern(s) may gain from the internship | • Learn how to research and design learning resources that can be used by in-house trainers • Use various tools and software to create graphics, photos, and videos for learning resources • Build up awareness of learning in a corporate settling including use of technology |
