Description of project

Under the TEDA Programme, you will be part of the Transformation Division Hub for Agile Product Management and Design (TD Hub) and deployed into ops-tech product teams to analyse stakeholders' business processes and needs, as well as identify opportunities for business process re-engineering and reusability of business services across similar products in MAS. You will also assist to advocate agile methodologies and best practices from TD Hub.

Expected deliverables for the project - Conduct a thorough analysis of requirements and business processes (6 months).
- Develop a report outlining areas of overlap and divergence across similar requirements and business processes in MAS (2 months).
- Provide support on BPR activities (4 months).
- Collaborate with project team and vendors to implement proposed solutions (9 months).
- Conduct testing of implemented solutions (3 months).
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of shared solutions and collaborate with other teams to optimize solution (ongoing).
- Advocate the agile methodologies and best practices from TD Hub (ongoing).
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the agile frameworks, guides and artefacts (ongoing).

Project 2: Product Management Trainee for Transformation Hub (Product)

Description of project

Under the TEDA Programme, you will be part of the Transformation Division Hub for Agile Product Management and Design (TD Hub) and deployed into ops-tech product teams to partner a senior product manager in managing a digital product across different stages of the product lifecycle, to ensure that the product is developed based on agile methodologies, and meets the needs of its users. You will be expected to collaborate closely with the team, including developers and designers, as well as managing vendors and stakeholders.

Expected deliverables for the project Partner the senior product manager in iterative sprints to:
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with the organisation's strategic goals 
- Define and prioritize product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria, in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Work closely with designers and developers to ensure that products are user-centered, technically feasible, and meet quality standards 
- Continuously monitor and analyze customer feedback and data to inform product decisions and make iterative improvements 
- Champion the product vision and ensure that it is communicated clearly to stakeholders and aligned with business goals.
- Advocate the agile methodologies and best practices from TD Hub (ongoing).

Project 3: UX Designer for Digital Product Team

Description of project

Under the TEDA Programme, you will be part of the Transformation Division Hub for Agile Product Management and Design (TD Hub) and deployed into ops-tech product teams to conduct user research, translate customer needs into design solutions through wireframes and mockups, validate solutions and conduct usability testing, and present user research and findings to stakeholders. You will be expected to collaborate closely with the team, including developers and designers, through an agile delivery model.

Expected deliverables for the project Responsibilities and Day-to-Day Activities:
- Collaborate with ops-tech team to shape the value proposition of the product
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to inform design decisions
- Translate customer needs into design solutions (scenario map, wireframes, experience roadmap)
- Use design software (e.g. Figma) to create and refine design mockups
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure designs are implemented as intended
- Present user research, design solutions and articulate design decisions to stakeholders
- Ensure product development and design best practices are followed
- Meet timeline/milestone goals for the project

Project 4: Visual/UI Designer For Transformation Hub

Description of project

Under the TEDA Programme, you will be part of the Transformation Division Hub for Agile Product Management and Design (TD Hub). In this role, you will be responsible for visualisation and prototyping of concepts for product teams working with TD Hub. The role will also be responsible for supporting the research in visual trends and upholding the relevance and appeal of MAS digital visual identity, including the creation and maintenance of corporate templates and brand materials.

Expected deliverables for the project

Responsibilities and Day-to-Day Activities
- Collaborate with teams to create visual design concepts and prototypes
- Maintain and evolve the organization's design system, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints
- Develop, maintain and aid in the adoption of corporate templates and brand materials to ensure consistent branding
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and iterate on designs as needed
- Support the development design system, in the area of component visual design and usability, aid product in the adoption of the design system and process

Project 5: Enhancing MAS Design System and Front-End Development for Transformation Hub

Description of project

Under the TEDA Programme, you will be part of the Design System Product Team to bridge the gap between visual design, user experience design, and front-end development. You will need to engage and collaborate with product teams in MAS, to support their adoption of the design system, and build out POCs to demonstrate the design system's capabilities.

Expected deliverables for the project

Responsibilities and Day-to-Day Activities:
- Collaborate with the visual/UI designer and UX designer to create and maintain the design system framework and component library
- Ensure that the design system is well-documented, organized, and accessible to all teams
- Work with front-end developers to align UI design standards with front-end development standards
- Investigate and experiment with technologies to enhance the usability and productivity of the design system
- Develop POCs to support PDC engagement and demonstrate the design system's capabilities
- Regularly update and improve the design system based on user feedback and emerging technologies

Project 6: Associate Product Manager for Supervision Platforms

Description of project

Under the TEDA Programme, you will be part of the Technology Products Team responsible for building digital applications that will be used by both officers and financial institutions for regulation and supervision

.Expected deliverables for the project

As an Associate Product Manager, you will work with an agile team to:

  • Identify, scope, and manage business requirements through information gathering and collaboration with stakeholders
  • Translate market and industry operational requirements to a technological solution for implementation
  • Innovate and conceptualise the potential product taking into consideration the market needs in the industry and internal capability to deliver
  • Create and manage a product roadmap, involving the ideating, planning, marketing and management of a product throughout stages of its lifecycle
  • Make use of Agile methodologies and tools to support iterative and incremental development
  • Managing of ICT contracts to ensure compliance and adoption of Government ICT policies
  • Apply contract monitoring methods to assess contract performance and resolve issues effectively
