Financial institutions regulated by MAS have processes to resolve consumer disputes. If you have a dispute with a financial institution, please contact the financial institution directly. You may also refer to our frequently asked questions for more information on how you can resolve your dispute with your financial institution.
As a financial services sector regulator, MAS supervises financial institutions for compliance with MAS’ laws and regulatory instruments. You should only file a report with MAS if you suspect that a financial institution or its representative has committed a regulatory breach or misconduct.

MAS advises the public to be alert and wary of unsolicited phone calls, letters, emails, SMSes, WhatsApp and Telegram chats etc. which:
Such correspondence are typically scams intended to defraud. Please note that MAS does not hold funds belonging to individuals nor collect fees of any nature from the general public. MAS will also not ask members of the public for personal banking information or security login credentials.
If you encounter any suspected scams involving MAS, please DO NOT transfer any funds, and report the matter to MAS via the general enquiries and feedback form.
For impersonation scams involving institutions regulated by MAS or phishing scams, please make a police report via the Police Hotline at 1800-255-0000, or submit it online at www.police.gov.sg/iwitness .
You can submit a whistleblowing report using the Deloitte whistleblowing channel .
This independent channel seeks to provide reassurance to whistleblowers that they will not be subject to any discrimination, retaliation or harassment.
