I refer to "More info on life fund deals" (Today Weekend, 29 January 2005) and "Seeking more information from insurance companies" (Today, 31 January 2005).

2   A participating fund review workgroup, comprising representatives from the life insurance industry, Singapore Actuarial Society and the Monetary Authority of Singapore, is reviewing various issues including the governance of participating funds and how to improve disclosure to policyholders.

3   The workgroup is expected to issue its recommendations for public comment in February 2005.
