I refer to 'How secure are saved copies of IC?' (TODAY' Voices, 9 January 2009).

Insurance companies are expected to have clear policies and adequate procedures for its agents and staff to safeguard the confidentiality of their customers' information, regardless of where the information is stored. MAS expects the board and senior management to ensure that these policies and procedures are implemented consistently.
