Singapore, 18 July 2013…Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, will be in Moscow, Russia, from 19 to 20 July 2013 to attend the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors’ Meeting, as well as the Joint G20 Finance and Labour Ministers Meeting.  He will be joined by Acting Minister for Manpower and Senior Minister of State for National Development Tan Chuan-Jin, who is also attending the G20 Labour and Employment Ministers Meeting.

2   The meetings will focus on recent developments in the global economy and actions to enhance and sustain employment and economic growth.
 
3   DPM Tharman and Acting Minister Tan will be accompanied by officials from the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Manpower.
