Singapore, 28 May 2015... The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) announced that Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam has been re-appointed as Chairman of the MAS Board of Directors for a further term of three years, with effect from 1 June 2015.

2   Mr Ravi Menon, Managing Director of MAS, has been re-appointed both as Managing Director of MAS and as member of the MAS Board of Directors for a further term of two years, with effect from 1 June 2015.

3   Mr Heng Swee Keat, Minister for Education, Mr Lawrence Wong, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth and Second Minister for Communications and Information, and Mr Quek See Tiat, Chairman of the Building and Construction Authority, have also been re-appointed as members of the MAS Board of Directors for a further term of three years, with effect from 1 June 2015.
