Singapore, 16 November 2022… The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) today unveiled the 2023 Year of the Rabbit Almanac coins, the seventh issue in the Singapore Fourth Chinese Almanac Coin SeriesThe Series was launched in 2017 and a new coin will be issued each year over a span of 12 years to 2028. Each year’s issue depicts a zodiac animal in a park or natural landscape setting in Singapore. . The coins will be issued on 1 January 2023.

2023 Year of the Rabbit Coins

2 The 2023 coins feature the Rabbit against the backdrop of East Coast Park, one of Singapore's most treasured urban getaways. The obverse of each coin bears the Singapore Coat of Arms with the year 2023.

3 There will be 10 different versions of the coins, comprising different face values, metallic compositions, shapes and minting relief effects. Special premium sets with various coin combinations will also be on sale. More details on the coins are in the Annex.
