Cyber Risk Management (CyRiM)

The Cyber Risk Management (CyRiM) Project aims to enhance cyber resilience and foster an efficient insurance marketplace through the development of quality data and quantification tools.

What It Is

CyRiM is a MAS-industry-academia public-private-partnership led by the Nanyang Technological University’s (NTU) Insurance Risk and Financial Research Centre (IRFRC) with strong focus on Singapore and Asia. It is supported by global collaborations.

Outcome

CyRiM produced cyber loss exposure databases, cyber loss frequency and severity models, catastrophic cyber scenario reports as well as benchmark definitions of cyber risk.

Project Oversight Board

The Board comprises representatives from MAS, the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA), NTU-IRFRC and industry founding members Aon Centre for Innovation and Analytics, Lloyd’s of London, MSIG, Scor and TransRe
