These guidelines explain how MAS regulates operators of organised markets pursuant to Part II of the Securities and Futures Act (Cap. 289) . In particular, guidance is provided on the following areas:

Scope of MAS’ regulatory ambit.
Obligations of approved exchanges and recognised market operators.
