The Global FinTech Hackcelerator (GFH) is an annual competition organised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in conjunction with the Singapore FinTech Festival, held since 2016. The programme challenges start-ups from around the world to develop market-ready solutions that address industry problem statements, building on over a decade of FinTech innovation that has reshaped industries, from accelerating digital payments and financial inclusion to AI-driven solutions.

After the Global FinTech Hackcelerator 2026, eligible finalists may apply for the GFH Scale-up Grant, which provides follow-on funding of up to S$500,000 to help them further develop their solutions, reach commercial milestones and establish a presence in Singapore.

Competitions run on an annual cycle, with calls for submissions announced by MAS ahead of the Singapore FinTech Festival. Finalists of the Global FinTech Hackcelerator will be notified on how to apply for the GFH Scale-up Grant upon conclusion of each cycle.
