Manpower

The Manpower track seeks to strengthen Singapore's FinTech talent pipeline by encouraging FinTech firms to hire and train local interns from Institutions of Higher Learning. By connecting students with meaningful industry experience, the track helps build job-ready skills, strengthens graduates' employment prospects in the financial sector, and gives FinTech firms access to a sustainable source of early-stage talent.

Applicant Eligibility

Participating FinTech firms must be onboarded onto the Singapore FinTech Association (SFA) internship portal.  

Internship Eligibility

  • Both full-time and part-time internships are eligible. 
  • Each internship must be at least 3 months in duration. 
  • The internship programme must have defined learning outcomes.

Funding support

  • For each qualifying hire, 80% of the monthly internship stipend, capped at S$1,000 per month of internship completed, for up to 12 months. 
  • Each participating firm may be funded for up to 10 interns per calendar year.

FinTech firms may onboard to and apply through SFA's internship portal at fintechinternships.sg . Support is provided on an ex-post basis upon completion of the qualifying internship period.
