AI portends significant transformation in financial services. Our aim is for our FIs to adopt AI productively and responsibly, and our workforce to have the skills to use AI. We are doing this in four aspects:
  1. Advancing our FIs in their AI adoption journey via shared knowledge and resources to start and scale;
  2. Anchoring leading AI competencies in Singapore;
  3. Upskilling our financial workforce transformation in tandem with AI; and

Development Initiatives

PathFin.ai

MAS Pathfinder Programme, or PathFin.ai, is a collaborative initiative between the MAS and the financial industry to foster knowledge exchange in Artificial Intelligence (AI) implementations, where FIs share their utilisation of AI-in-Finance with their peers, access an industry knowledge hub and connect through PathFin.ai events.

BuildFin.ai

Collaborative platform for AI-forward FIs to develop cutting-edge AI components to facilitate the development of their AI applications more rapidly and in a cost-effective way.

MindForge

Develops AI risk management frameworks and guidance for FIs.

1. MAS Guidelines for Artificial Intelligence (AI) Risk Management - MAS issued a consultation paper proposing a set of guidelines on AI Risk Management on 13 Nov 2025.

2. MAS and UK FCA announces partnership on AI-in-Finance - MAS and UK FCA announced a strategic partnership on AI in Finance between the Singapore and the UK to support safe and responsible AI innovation on 12 Nov 2025.
