At the first Growing Timber event of 2023, Mr Alvin Tan, Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry and Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, and Board Member of MAS, announced the launch of the Polytechnic Talent for Finance Scheme (PTFS).
He shared that the financial sector is growing fast and the sector needs a strong pool of talent to support their business activities and growth. Polytechnic graduates form a viable and valuable pool, and there is much that they can contribute to our financial institutions. At the same time, polytechnic graduates can find meaningful opportunities in the financial sector, with jobs that are dynamic and purposeful.
