Encouraging the use of Fit notes and e-hong baos during Lunar New Year (LNY)

MAS continued with its efforts to encourage the public to choose Fit notes or e-hong baos for festive gifting during LNY for a greener future. For LNY 2025, MAS intensified its outreach efforts to reach different demographic segments, and also collaborated with the banks to enhance the accessibility of Fit notes, by expanding the network of pop-up and branch ATMs to dispense these notes. The results have been encouraging, with more Singaporeans adopting these greener options for festive gifting. About 16.2 million pieces of Fit notes were exchanged in LNY 2025, an increase of 38% compared to LNY 2024.
