9th UK (United Kingdom)-Singapore Financial Dialogue

The UK and Singapore held the 9th UK-Singapore Financial Dialogue in Singapore on 8 May 2024. Both countries discussed collaboration opportunities in priority areas such as sustainable finance and FinTech and innovation, and exchanged views on recent developments in non-bank financial intermediation as well as efforts to improve cross-border payment connectivity.
8th Bilateral MAS-CSRC (China Securities Regulatory Commission) Roundtable
14 June 2024
MAS and CSRC affirmed their commitment to strengthen supervisory cooperation and enhance collaboration in capital markets at their annual supervisory roundtable held on 14 June 2024. MAS and CSRC exchanged views on the regulatory frameworks for securities offering and listing, developments in sustainability disclosure requirements for listed companies, as well as the regulation of derivatives markets in both countries. The roundtable also explored potential collaboration between Singapore and Chinese exchanges to strengthen cross-border capital market activities including index collaboration.
MAS-BNM (Bank Negara Malaysia) Bilateral Roundtable

At the roundtable, MAS and BNM discussed macroeconomic developments, and exchanged views on cross-border payment linkages, corporate sustainability initiatives, sustainable financing, climate risk and artificial intelligence.
8th Switzerland-Singapore Financial Dialogue
4 November 2024
Singapore and Switzerland held the 8th Switzerland-Singapore Financial Dialogue in Singapore on 4 November 2024. Both countries exchanged views on the regional and domestic economic outlook and related policy challenges, and discussed recent developments in digital finance as well as cyber and operational resilience.
13th MAS-NFRA (Chinese National Financial Regulatory Administration) Supervisory Roundtable
27 November 2024
MAS and NFRA reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen supervisory cooperation at the annual MAS-NFRA Supervisory Roundtable. The roundtable discussions covered supervisory priorities in relation to Singapore and Chinese banks, and latest developments in NFRA’s insurance supervision framework. MAS and NFRA also shared on developments in our asset management sectors and respective supervisory frameworks.
MAS continues to play an active role in contributing to regional and global macroeconomic and financial stability, as well as in the development of robust financial standards

MAS participated in meetings of the International Monetary Fund, Bank for International Settlements, Financial Stability Board, Network for Greening the Financial System, Group of 20, Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and ASEAN+3, and Executives’ Meeting of East Asia-Pacific Central Banks. MAS was also represented at the steering committees and technical working groups of global standard-setting bodies such as the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, International Organization of Securities Commissions, International Association of Insurance Supervisors, the Financial Action Taskforce and the ASEAN Taxonomy Board.
