Choosing Fit notes and e-Hong Baos for a Greener Lunar New Year (LNY)

MAS continued with its outreach campaign encouraging the public to choose Fit notes or e-hong baos for a greener LNY, and worked with banks to expand Fit note availability through a wider network of pop-up and branch ATMs. These initiatives have been well received, with 18.5 million pieces of Fit notes exchanged during LNY 2026, an increase of 14% and 58% from LNY 2025 and LNY 2024 respectively.
