Notice FAA-N02 Appointment and Use of Introducers by Financial Advisers
Requirements for financial advisers when appointing and using introducers.
Financial Advisers Act (Cap. 110) section 58
This notice applies to all licensed financial advisers and exempt financial advisers.
It sets out the standards to be maintained with respect to the appointment and use of persons carrying out introducing activities, including:
- Disclosure by introducers.
- Provision of script for use by introducers.
- Prohibition on handling of client’s money or property.
